Colombo- Batticaloa Train Commences Operations For The First Time In Three Months: Railway Stations Disinfected

Colombo-Batticaloa train commenced operations this morning for the first time in three months.

The train left Batticaloa at 6.10 AM and is expected to reach Colombo at 3.15 PM.

Measures have been taken to disinfect railway stations and public places where crowds usually gather.

Transport Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said public transport services would be operated as usual from today onwards.
