Archeological Sites, Monuments And Museums To Reopen On July 01

Ministry of Buddhasasana, Cultural and Religious Affairs has said that archaeological sites, monuments, museums under Department of National Museums and other places that were temporarily closed due to COVID19 will reopen on July 1.

Sri Lanka is set to reopen the country for tourists on August 01. All foreigners arriving on the island will be tested at the airport.

Health authorities have stated that no COVID19 patient has been detected from the "community" in 50 days.

However, the number of total confirmed cases in Sri Lanka has surpassed 2000.
