The SLPP has nominated 17 national list members who will be sworn in as MPs.

Several notable ffigures, including former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivaad Cabraal, President's Counsel Ali Sabry and former Minister G.L. Peiris have been nominated as national list MPs.
