Karunanidhi Demands Identity Of Indian Politico Tied With Pakistani Spy

DMK President M. Karunanidhi Sunday demanded the authorities to reveal the identity of the Indin politician who is allegedly connected to the arrested Pakistani Spy and Sri Lankan national Arun Selvaranjan.

The DMK President making a statement to Indian media said that it is the obligation of the Government to reveal the name of the Indian politician connected to Arun Selvaranjan and claimed that it is the authorities’ obligation to bring closure to this incident.

"There are reports he was in contact with a politician. Who is this politician should be made public," he said.

Speaking to The New Indian Express Karunanidhi said this is not the first time an anti-national was arrested in Tamil Nadu. He also expressed his concerns over the spy network by saying that the network is widely spread across the region as spies were arrested in several places of South East Asia.

Karunanidhi also said that the case of the twin bomb blasts in the Bangalore-Guwahati tri-weekly express train that killed a woman passenger and injured many others at the Chennai Central station May 1 is also yet to be solved.
