“The committee consists of several Senior Officers, they have already launched an investigation into the matter”, he said said.

Warnakulasuriya said that the committee in their investigation, will look into three main areas, including ranks and titles received by Yoshitha Rajapaksa from the Navy, his foreign training’, and alleged engagement in political activities while serving in the military.

it was  rumored that after his father’s defeat in the Presidential Election, Yoshitha Rajapaksa had handed over his resignation to the Navy Commander, which the hatter had refused to accept.
