Attorney General Wants Six Months To Submit Detailed Report On KP

The Attorney General Y.J.W Wijayathilake today told the Court of Appeal that he would submit a detailed report on former LTTE Chief Arms Procurer Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP) in six months.
 
The writ petition was filed by Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) parliamentarian Vijitha Herath on January against the former LTTE leader.
 
The Attorney General further said that there are 193 incidents mentioned in the petition and they must be examined properly.
 
Following the Writ application filed by the JVP, the Court of Appeal also barred former LTTE Leader Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP,from leaving the country.
