UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena arrived at the Bribery Commission to give a statement on his assets and liabilities.

 

He was required to be present at the commission yesterday. However, he informed the commission that he could not be present due to ill health.

 

Meanwhile, Criminal Investigations Department recorded a statement yesterday from his wife over complaints against him.

 

Sajin de Vass Gunawardena was the former CEO of Mihin Lanka Airlines. He was also appointed as the Monitoring MP of the Ministry of External Affairs during the tenure of former president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
