Former Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, who was charged of financial fraud, was released on bail by Colombo Magistrate Courts a short while ago.

He was released on personal bail of Rs. 50,000 and two sureties of Rs one million each.

Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption filed a case against Bogollagama on March 24.

Meanwhile, the Courts also banned him from foreign travels.
