Magnitude 7.4 Earthquake Rocks Nepal

A magnitude-7.4 earthquake hit Nepal Tuesday (12),  just 18 days after April 25’s devastating quake that left more than 8,000 people dead.

Thousands of people are reported to have flooded the streets of Kathmandu as the ground shook for at least 2 minutes. Early reports suggest at least some destruction.

Reports also said that the epicenter was near the Everest Base Camp.

The tremors were felt as far away as Delhi, in India. Reports are coming in that it was also felt in Afghanistan.
