Baahubali has become a huge buzz across the globe these days. For those who do not know about it, here is the break down-
It all began with Baahubali 1: The Beginning. It is a 2015 Indian epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The movie is a tale of the lost rightful heir of the fictional kingdom of Mahishmati, who learns about his true identity while falling in love with a rebellious warrior, who intends to rescue the former queen of Mahismati. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah played the lead roles The Beginning became the first Indian film to be nominated for Saturn Awards.
The film was made on a budget of ₹1.8 billion, making it the most expensive Indian film at its time of release and worldwide box office gross of ₹6.5 billion, and it became the highest grossing film in India and the third-highest grossing Indian film worldwide, and the highest-grossing South Indian film at the time of its release.
Baahubali: The Conclusion is, as its name suggests, is the concluding part of Baahubali saga where the story taking place before and after the events of that film and where Shiva, the son of Bahubali, begins to search for answers after he learns about his heritage.
Much of the cast returned for the sequel - Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, who play the central characters of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva; Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia.
The movie has become an instant sensation as expected. The Conclusion has had yet another phenomenal week at the domestic box-office. 'Baahubali 2' shattered and created numerous records within its three weeks at the box-office. It reached an all-time box-office milestone by collecting Rs 1,500 crore worldwide. After 21 days of its release, the second part of the celebrated Baahubali franchise achieved the landmark.
Filmmaker S.S Rajamouli, believes the world of Baahubali goes beyond films and there is so much more to explore. So, he does not want it to end. Talking about the golden run of “Baahubali 2”, Rajamouli stated he is still “in a state of daze”. He added: “The world of ‘Baahubali’ is so fascinating. I wish it doesn’t end. It shouldn’t end and I will pray for it.”
The long-awaited epic has not failed its global audience. So no one can blame for wanting another addition for this mind blowing saga.
