Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority, Attorney Shantha Niriella, along with the Board of Directors, has been directed to tender their resignations.

The directive came from Minister of Trade, Commerce, and Food Security, Nalin Fernando.

It’s anticipated that a new Board of Directors will be appointed in the near future to oversee the operations of the Consumer Affairs Authority.
