Health unions are on the brink of a strike if their demands aren't met within a week.

The Health Trade Union Alliance has given the Ministry of Finance a deadline to resolve allowance issues.

Co-Convener Chanaka Dharmawickrama stated that if no solution is reached by the deadline, strike action will commence on March 19th. This decision came after discussions involving representatives from 72 health trade unions.
