President Ranil Wickremesinghe is set to attend two public rallies tomorrow (May 01) in commemoration of Labour Day. The first rally will be hosted by the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) at the Kotagala Public Stadium, starting at 10:00 am. Following this, the President will join the UNP May Day rally, scheduled to take place opposite the Maligawatte Police Station at 2:00 pm.

In addition to the political events, a grand musical show featuring local and Indian artists is planned after the UNP May Day Rally. Minister Harin Fernando extended invitations to all political party members hosting May Day rallies to join the musical celebration, aimed at honoring Sri Lankan workers. The musical extravaganza, beginning at 07:00 pm, aims to provide a joyous evening for the hardworking people of Sri Lanka.
