Effective from midnight today, Litro Gas Lanka, Sri Lanka's primary gas dealer, has implemented a price reduction for its domestic LP gas cylinders.
The revised prices are as follows: the 12.5kg cylinder sees a reduction of Rs. 175, bringing the new price to Rs. 3,940; the 5kg cylinder is reduced by Rs. 70, with a new price of Rs. 1,582; and the 2.3kg cylinder experiences a reduction of Rs. 32, setting the new price at Rs. 740.

In a media briefing, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris expressed optimism for further price reductions in the future and assured the public of sufficient LP gas stocks in Sri Lanka presently.
