President Maithripala Sirisena has removed the Secretary to the Ministry of Posts Abdul Majeed on a complaint and recommendation of the Elections Commissioner, the Presidential Media Division said.

 

He has been transferred to the Ministry of Public Administration.

 

An additional Secretary was appointed as the Acting Secretary to the Ministry of Posts, PMD also said.
