Provincial Ministers were appointed for the Western Provincial Council today.

Accordingly, Isura Devapriya, Ranjith Somawansa, Lalith Wanigaratne, Nishantha Warnasinghe and Gamini Thilakasiri were appointed as ministers.

Former WPC Minister Upali Kodikara was not appointed a minister. Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe, the Jathika Hela Urumaya media spokesman was appointed for the first time as a minister of the WPC.

Devapriya was recently appointed as Chief Minister of the Province by President Maithripala Sirisena.
