A 10-year-old boy was found hacked to death inside a house at Kapugoda Road in Panagoda, the Police Media Unit said.

The boy was a grade four student of Parakrama Vidyala in Panagoda.

According to our reporter the Police is searching for a person who worked at a quarry nearby. He is the main suspect for the incident as he has has disappeared from the area after the incident.
