Another suspect was arrested today in relation to the murder of a five-year-old girl in Kotadeniyawa.

He was produced before the Minuwangoda Acting Magistrate who permitted him to be detained for 72 hours.

Interestingly, his identity has not been revealed.

Police was severely criticized in the past few weeks for its conduct regarding the case, including revealing identities of suspects in the case to the public.

Two suspects, including a 17-year-old schoolboy, were recently released after being remanded for a few days.
