Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera surrendered to Fort Magistrate's Court today, following an arrest warrant issued on him.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage issued an arrest warrant for Gnanasara Thera yesterday following his absence in two court cases.

The cases pertaining to Gnanasara Thera's alleged defamatory comments on The Quran and on his alleged obstruction of a press conference of the Jathika Bala Sena were taken up for hearing yesterday and Gnanasara Thera was absent in court.
