Rajapaksa To Appear At Presidential Commission Of Inquiry Tomorrow

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to be at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges at BMICH to give a statement.

He will be questioned on the non-payment of money due to ITN for the political advertisements during the 2015 Presidential Election campaign.

The commission has already recorded one statement from Rajapaksa and several other individuals have also been questioned.

Meanwhile, a protest has been organized at BMICH in support of the former President, reports said.
