Anandasangaree Urges Investigations On Deaths Of Seven MPs

Tamil United Liberation Front leader V. Anandasangaree requested Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe to conduct a thorough investigation into the deaths of seven parliamentarians.

Writing a letter to Wickremesinghe, Anandasangaree requested the government to probe the deaths of former MPs Lakshman Kadirgamar, Kingley Rajanayagam, Arunachalam Thangathurai, Joseph Pararajasingham, Nadaraja Raviraj, T. Maheshwaran and D.M.Dassanayaka.

Pointing out that these MPs exemplary in serving their people, Anandasangaree said that the people deserve to know the circumstances of their deaths.

The CID is currently investigating the death of former MP Joseph Pararajasingham and has arrested former Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan in connection with it.
