The police today announced special traffic plan from Monday (09) to Thursday (12) in the vicinity of Kotte Sri Naga Viharaya, since large crowds were expected to pay their last respects to Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera.

Accordingly, only one line will be opened in the road from Pitakotte to Jubilee Post. Motorists can use the road from the direction of Pitakotte towards Jubilee Post only.

The other side of the road will be restricted for traffic. Parking will not be allowed in the lane from Pitakotte to Jubilee Post.

Vehicles of the visitors to the temple can be parked in the Stanley Wijesundara Mawatha from Jubilee Post towards Nugegoda, in Madiwela Road in Pitakotte. The vehicles of the Buddhist clergy can be parked near the Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya.
