The first ever Day/Night Test Cricket match, using the pink coloured cricket ball, got started a short while ago at the Adelaide Oval, Australia.

New Zealand captain Brendan McCullum won the toss and elected to bat first. Martin Guptill became the first batsman to face the pink ball in a Test match, which was delivered by Michel Starc.

Today is also the first death anniversary of Aussie Test cricketer Phil Hughes, who met a tragic death in a domestic game.
