Jathika Hela Urumaya Media Spokesman Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe stated that he was not officially informed of a move to take over his Ministerial portfolios at the Western Provincial Council.

Warnasinghe's Ministerial portfolios were taken over by Chief Minister Isura Devapriya a short while ago.

However, commenting on this matter, Warnasinghe said that he was yet not aware of the move.

If he was to be removed as a Minister, he should have been informed in advance, Warnasinghe also pointed out.

He added that he would take a decision on his next move after he has been properly informed.
