Three Injured In Student Clash In Jaffna University

Three students were injured in a clash broke out between two groups of student of University of Jaffna last night, Kopai police reported.

Clash broke out between third year and second year students of the Faculty of Management.

The reason for the conflict was said to be some posters pasted by the second year students at the university library building, denouncing daily activities of third year students, Kopai police said.

Injured second year students were admitted to hospital, and two of them had left the hospital today.  

Kopai police further said that investigations referred to the clash were being conducted.
