The flood levels in some areas of the Kelani basin have dropped and there is no threat to the electricity and water supply as it is still rumored.

The fear of water supply to Colombo was raised yesterday as the water level in Kelani River continued to rise. However, the situation is now under control.

The navy is taking measures to protect the Ambatale water treatment plant. There is no threat to the Kelanitissa Power Plant as of now.

Meanwhile, the threat of a storm has also subsided at the moment.
