Prime Minister Tells Ramanayake To 'Stop Acting'

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe told Parliament today that he had called Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and advised him not to take part in a film shooting near the Madiwela MP's Quarters.

He made this observation respondng to a question raised by UPFA MP Udayashantha Gunasekara.

Gunasekara, raising a point of order, told Parliament that Ramanayake was involved in a film shoot which involved a scene with gun fights. He said that such activities were not suitable to be done near the quarters as there were children also staying inside.
