Pound Falls To 31-year Low As Brexit Takes Lead In EU Referendum Results

The pound has fallen to a 31-year low against the dollar after the Leave campaign took a strong lead with more than half the results declared in the EU referendum.

In 1985, it fell to US $ 1.35 per pound.

The Leave campaign has a lead of nearly 500,000 votes as of now. The trend seems to favour the Leave camp as almost two thirds of the regions have already reported results.
