Bharathiar University will soon start working with the Eastern University, Sri Lanka in biotechnology, human genetics, commerce, management and a few other areas, said a release from the University.

Process

The process for initiating the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding will begin in the next few days when its delegates visit the Trincomalee Campus to participate in an international conference on environment challenges for sustainable regional development.

BU professor R. Venkatapathy, who would be a speaker in the conference, would initiate the process.

MoU

The MoU was likely to be signed by December this year, the release added.
