President's Son Implicated In Night Club Attack, CCTV Video Released

President Maithripala Sirisena's son Daham has been implicated in a night club attack in early hours of yesterday when a group allegedly led by him attacked Club Clique, injuring one guard and damaging the club.

The incident occurred when Daham and a few others were denied access to the club at around 2 a.m. yesterday. They returned later, armed with sticks, and attacked the premises.

The injured guard has told the police that the mob which attacked the club was led by Daham Sirisena, a local newspaper said today.

Meanwhile, a CCTV recording of the scene was released by the Colombo Telegraph today.
