Prime Minister Wants All Religious Places To Come Forward To Eradicate Drug Menace

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe says four percent of the population is addicted to various drugs, alcohol and narcotics. 

This has become a severe threat to the entire country. Therefore, all religious places should make the people aware of this threat and to get rid of the evil. The Prime Minister made these remarks participating in a religious ceremony held in Kande Purana Viharaya in Gothatuwa to unveil the new shrine room. The premier further said that special parliamentary committee will be set up to monitor the drug menace. 

It will be totally controlled within next few years.
