Six suspected members of the 'Aava' gang operating in the north were arrested over the weekend.

Four of them were arrested by the police on Saturday evening and based on information gathered from them, two more were arrested from the Chunnakam area on Sunday.

A special police team from Colombo is supporting the Jaffna Police in the investigations on the gang.
