The Sri Lankan government is considering joining free trade agreements including the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake said.

He made this observation during 2017 budget speech.

Karunanayake also said that the government will enter into trade agreements with India, China and Singapore in near future.
