After concluding Parliamentary debate on the second reading of the 2017 Budget, the vote on the second reading of 2017 Budget proposal scheduled to be taken today.

The debate on the third reading or the Committee Stage debate will commence tomorrow. The final vote on the 2017 Budget will be taken on the 10th of December. 

The third budget of the good governance government was presented by Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake on the 10th of November.
