The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for the first time in the history has achieved a profit of Rs 1.2 billion, Foreign Employment Minister Thalatha Athukorale said.

She said that compared to last year it is an increase of 45percent.

In 2015 the operating profit was Rs 338 million while in 2016 it improved to Rs 642 million.
