NDF Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa said when he is elected President, he will decide on a Prime Minister who commands the majority of the House.

Making a special statement this afternoon, Premadasa also promised to appoint Ministers who are not tainted with corruption and bribery allegations.

He said he would establish a state service that is depoliticized, efficient and meritocratic.

Premadasa said he would put an end to the power-hungry political culture in Sri Lanka by initiating a new social revolution.

"At the next Provincial Council and Parliamentary elections, I will give opportunities to young, talented people," he added.
