The Meteorology Department has forecasted evening showers or thundershowers in select regions of Sri Lanka. According to the department, Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with Galle and Matara districts, are likely to experience rainfall during the evening or night hours.

However, the rest of the island is expected to have mainly dry weather. Additionally, misty conditions are anticipated in certain areas of Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, as well as in Galle and Kalutara districts during the morning.
