Temporary Relief from Dry Weather Expected

The Department of Meteorology has announced a brief respite from the prevailing dry weather conditions across the island, particularly in the southern regions, starting from today (March 20). While the Eastern Province may experience a few showers, scattered showers or thundershowers are forecasted for the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as Nuwara-Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts during the evening or night hours. However, predominantly dry weather will persist elsewhere in the country.
Additionally, misty conditions may envelop certain areas of Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, along with Galle and Kalutara districts in the morning hours. Citizens are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and be prepared for localized changes in weather patterns.
