Sri Lanka Railways announced the cancellation of eleven scheduled office trains today.
The Railway Department cited the absence of train drivers and railway guards as the cause for the cancellations. Routes affected include those from Colombo-Fort to Moratuwa, Panadura, Wadduwa, Negombo, Ambepussa, Padukka, and Ragama, with services in both directions impacted. Commuters are advised to seek alternative transportation arrangements until further notice.
