The Ministry of Defence has sounded the alarm regarding retired war veterans allegedly lured into joining mercenary groups on the Russian-Ukrainian warfront.
These veterans, who once served the nation honorably during a 30-year-long conflict, are reported to have fallen prey to illegal foreign job agents promising lucrative opportunities abroad.
Many have suffered casualties or injuries, with neither salaries nor promised benefits materializing.
