The Supreme Court has deemed State Minister Diana Gamage ineligible to retain her parliamentary seat.
The decision follows a petition filed by social activist Oshala Herath, challenging Gamage's citizenship status and parliamentary membership.

Herath's appeal, submitted after an earlier dismissal by the Appeals Court, argued that Gamage's dual citizenship rendered her unfit for parliament .
