A collision between a passenger transport bus and a three-wheeler in the Puwakgodamulla area of Badulla.
The incident, which occurred around 10:00 a.m., involved a bus from the Sri Lanka Transport Board’s Dehiattakandiya Bus Depot and a three-wheeler.

A 79-year-old individual traveling in the three-wheeler lost their life, while four others sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

Local residents have raised concerns about frequent accidents in the area, attributing them to road obstructions caused by ongoing water pipe maintenance activities.
