The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) deployed its second aircraft deployment overseas, when three MI 17 Helicopters proceeded to South Sudan to take on the role of an Aviation Unit in that country under the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS).
