Representatives of several minority parties are meeting National Movement for a Just Society Chairman Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera this afternoon.

 

The discussion, which will take place at the Naga Viharaya, Kotte, will focus around the 20th Amendment.

 

A number of small and minority parties have already announced their displeasure over the Gazette Notification of the 20th Amendment. SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem yesterday announced that 22 parties had unanimously decided to demand the withdrawal of the Gazette Notification.
