Bid Foiled To Smuggle Heroin To Colombo

ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle one kilogramme of heroin worth millions of rupees abroad and arrested drugs pusher on Sunday.
 
Airport sources said that during the search of baggage of a passenger leaving for Colombo through private airline at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, ASF recovered one kilogramme of heroin hidden in his handbag.
 
The smuggler, identified as Ilyas Muzaffar, hailed from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested and drug worth million of rupees in international market was seized.
