Four individuals have been arrested by police in connection with the clash at R. Premadasa Stadium last night. Meanwhile, police is conducting further investigations to arrest several other individuals regarding the same clash.

 

The incident took place last night when rioting crowds forced the third ODI between Sri Lanka and Pakistan to a temporary halt as projectiles from the stands hit the ground. Several people were injured during the clash.

 

Meanwhile, some property damage was caused to the R. Premadasa ground as a result of the clash. Several buildings and vehicles outside the stadium were also damaged.
