UPFA Divided Due To Interference Of Rajapaksa: Gayantha Karunathilaka

The UPFA is now divided due to the interference of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka stated today.

Speaking at a press conference at Sirikotha party headquarters, Karunathilaka said that there was a clear division in the UPFA, with certain former MPs being hooted at meetings.

The division occurred due to one defeated candidate who was seeking his personal goals, Karunathilaka said.

He also questioned as to how Rajapaksa was going to carry out promises he could not deliver as President, even if he is elected to the parliament.
