Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) this morning (03).

Two former Navy Commanders also arrived at the commission for the proceedings on the probe into Rakna Lanka Araksha.

Rajapaksa's lawyers made a preliminary objection, saying that the commission did not have the authority to hear the case. However, the commission rejected the objection.
