National Freedom Front Politburo Member and UPFA MP Niroshan Premaratne filed a complainst against Minister Rajitha Senaratne with the Anti-corruption Committee yesterday.

The complaint claims that Senaratne is responsible for the misuse of Rs 177 million when he was the Minister of Fisheries.

The said misuse occurred regarding the payment of consultant fees to a private company during the construction of Silavathura, Gurunagar and Gandara Fisheries Harbours, the complaint further said.

The money was allocated through the Project Implementation and Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, the complaint said.
