September 09, 2016

Colombo High Court today allowed former Minister and UPFA MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena to travel abroad for a month.

His passport was impounded over a case filed by the Bribery Commission on alleged misappropriation of Rs 41.2 million.

However, he made a formal request today to be allowed to leave the country for a month from September 24 and the High Court gave permission for his request.
